can check your installation of QuickTIme by visiting this site. If you already have QuickTime 4.1, Windows Media Player may be "hijacking" the .mov filename extension. If so, open the QuickTime Settings control panel, choose BROWSER PLUG-IN, click MIME SETTINGS and click the checkbox for VIDEO/X-QUICKTIME.
